AUGUST 2-17

Huayhuash is world-class, no doubt.  Glacier peaks of Huayhuash surround you with stunning landscapes and lakes everywhere you look.  This is a lesser known trekking destination that we wish to stay out of the radar because the beauty is spectacular and we want to selfishly enjoy the scenery without the typical tourist crowd.  With that said, you're in for a major treat as we trek for 10 days in this so-called Peruvian Alps.  Discover the other side of Peru where the sky meets the numerous snow-capped peaks of the Andes.  A true gem for any explorer!

This trek is open to all genders and as part of our mission to elevate females in the industry via our human rights organization, The Porter Voice Collective, we strive to hire female guides to the extent feasible to lead this trek (NOTE: Female trekking guides in this region is in demand and is small in numbers compared to male guides. The hiring of female guide is subject to availability; hence, although we make our best effort to find a qualified female trekking guide, we cannot guarantee that your guide will be a female).
