New Zealand

There are many superlatives to be used when one has to describe the trekking life in New Zealand.  The country has so many trails for one to enjoy on however number days.  To make it more convenient, you can stay in huts along the way so you don’t need to carry a tent.  My visit to New Zealand allowed me to trek in Tongariro, Mt. Cook, Abel Tasman, Kepler and Routeburn tracks – all trails deemed as world class.  It is a very gorgeous country with Queenstown being such an attractive city to base yourself before hitting the trails.

Brown Gal Trekker is a nomad at heart who survives the mountains to inspire others to trek them.
